They undergo diagnostics, identify gaps in their knowledge, see what topics they need to improve

To test their knowledge, students used the My Achievements web service.

“With the help of the“ My Achievements ”service, we provide graduates with a unique opportunity for comprehensive preparation for exams. They undergo diagnostics, identify gaps in their knowledge, see what topics they need to bring up. Also, graduates can get advice from a GIA expert with an analysis of mistakes made in their work. In addition, you can watch video consultations on preparing for the Unified State Exam and training videos with solving individual tasks, as well as practice filling out the GIA forms, ”said Bogdan Legostaev, Deputy Director of the Moscow Center for Education Quality.

In Russia, the USE serves as both the final exam at school and the entrance exam to the university. The Unified State Exam in Russian language and mathematics is mandatory for obtaining a certificate of graduation from a Russian school. In 2022, a foreign language is also planned to be included in the number of compulsory subjects for graduates.

This year, the Unified State Exam in a Foreign Language is supplemented by the Chinese language, said Sergei Kravtsov, head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science.

He stated this during the All-Russian meeting with his parents.

“This year, the foreign language exam is complemented by the Chinese language. We have been moving towards this technology for a long time. The technology is not easy. Those approbations that we have carried out indicate that we are completely ready, “said Kravtsov.

The development of the USE model in the Chinese language was started in 2014 due to the growing interest in studying it in Russia. The model has passed public and professional discussion and testing in 12 regions of Russia.

Currently, the FIPI website has published demonstration versions of the oral and written parts of the examination work.

The written part of the work includes 42 tasks and consists of four sections: “Listening”, “Reading”, “Grammar, vocabulary and hieroglyphics” and “Writing”.

The oral part of the KIM USE in Chinese includes three tasks. In task 1, you are asked to familiarize yourself with the situation and ask five questions based on keywords, in task 2 – to choose one of three photographs and describe it based on the plan, in task 3, you need to compare two photographs based on the proposed plan.

He stated this during a press conference at Interfax.

“This year, the number of reserve days has been increased, you can safely come to take one of them,” said Sergey Kravtsov.

He noted that even those students who come to take the exam in August will have time to enter universities.

“There will be no problems here. We discussed this issue with the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Valery Falkov, ”said Kravtsov.

He also recalled that graduates of past years take the Unified State Exam either in July or in August.

School graduates will be able to independently decide on passing the Unified State Exam in masks and gloves, reports TASS with reference to Igor Kruglinsky, head of the department for organizing and conducting state final certification of the Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science.

“It is not planned to require a total requirement for a student to have gloves and a mask directly on the exam,” noted Kruglinsky.

Earlier, recommendations for the USE were announced:

– mandatory use of masks and gloves by examiners;

– general cleaning of premises before and after the exam;

– at the entrance, install dispensers with hand sanitizers;

– non-contact thermometry at the entrance to an educational institution;

– scheduling the arrival of students to prevent the accumulation of children;

– social distance in classrooms – 1.5 meters;

– air disinfection;

– zigzag seating at desks for 1 person;

– organization of the drinking regime (disposable dishes, disinfection of dispensers).

The Unified State Exam in Chinese takes into account the specifics of the language, said Maria Verbitskaya, Head of the Federal Commission for Developers of Control Measuring Materials for the Unified State Examination and OGE in Foreign Languages.

“The USE in Chinese cannot differ from the USE in other foreign languages. This is a single exam and the rules are the same. The specificity of the language is taken into account, ”said Verbitskaya.

According to her, the exam tasks are aimed at understanding whether a person speaks the language.

“The USE in European languages has revolutionized the study of foreign languages. Nobody understood what listening was. And now listening is at the same level as reading, ”said Verbitskaya.

Graduates of the 11th grade in the new academic year will have the opportunity to take the Unified State Exam in Chinese for the first time. From 2019, it will become the fifth language of choice for USE participants, along with English, German, French and Spanish.

“In terms of history, the most difficult tasks are with a historical map. These tasks are formed from the 5th grade, if they have not mastered them in the 5th grade, then it is difficult to eliminate them, “said Kravtsov.

He clarified that in physics, many schoolchildren found it difficult to solve problems due to a poor understanding of mathematical calculation.

“We see that many of the difficulties are not from high school. In September-October, it is necessary to identify those gaps that exist. From the point of view of the technology of the exam, everything is clear, “said Kravtsov.
